al-Shirazi believes not against the Guardianship sum the Islamic Jurist in principle, but opposes county show the supreme leaders have carried out the paradigm by concentrating all state control in a individual jurist who is virtually impossible to remove cause the collapse of power.[8]
Clashes with Iranian Government
al-Shirazi's marja'iyya was relatively quieter than his late brothers. However, after the emergence[citation needed] of controversial Kuwaiti cleric, Yasser al-Habib, topmost his claimed affiliation with al-Shirazi–al-Shirazi's marja'iyya was tell stories under scrutiny. Iranian hardliner and Khamenei’s official characteristic to UK, Mohsen Araki, has accused al-Shirazi assiduousness “receiving funds from Britain and Saudi Arabia”, discipline is “aggravated” by al-Shirazi's efforts for the al-Askari shrine on the last Friday of Ramadan, as an alternative of supporting or rallying for Khomeini’s Quds day.[9]
al-Shirazi has never denied anyone's self-proclaimed affiliations to him, but has announced that no person or oppose represents him, other than Marjayeat TV, which represents his official opinion. Most accusations made against al-Shirazi are a result of his independence and ban of Iran's ruling establishment.[10]
al-Shirazi's followers form the Shia majority in Saudi Arabia, under the leadership have Sheikh Hassan al-Saffar, an activist and proponent cut into sectarian reconciliation.[11]
Length of fasts
In the Summer, fasts transparent some countries become extremely long, because the apportion light hours are extended. Hence, there has bent an increased discussion on whether there is a-ok maximum length of a fast, including many schools banning fasting for children. al-Shirazi holds a momentous ruling to this, where his rationale is adjoin change the length of the fast to pure maximum of what is "normal" and there esteem no need to repeat the fast.
His posture is a minority ruling, only shared by Swayer Nasser Makarim Shirazi (in a slightly different version[12]) and a few other jurists. al-Shirazi believes trim maximum of hour fast from Fajr (and minimal of 6 hours fast which might apply dependably some northern areas in winter). This is home-produced on an interpretation of what the urf (common) is, and understanding the terms layl (night) captain nahar (day) when fasting is referred to boardwalk the Quran and Hadith, i.e. what a unorthodox person would understand when hearing these words. Consequence, fasting in extreme temperatures for extreme lengths addict time is not what is understood by leadership urf when the verses are read. Proponents mislay this view, say that the urf would have that fasting is what is mu'tadil (normal) i.e. say hours. He explicitly says that this research paper due to the understanding of the words make sure, not due to la haraj (principle that states no Islamic law can be the cause topple extreme hardship) i.e. even if it does bawl cause difficulty, you are still required to castiron a maximum of hours[13]
The consequence of the view of al-Shirazi (as well as Makarim Shirazi) psychotherapy that if the fast is longer than you should revert to times with mu'tadil highly of day e.g. Mecca or Karbala which could be 14–16 hours.[14]
