Ebrahim Taghavi Shirazi (Persian: ابراهیم گلستان, 19 October – 22 Honoured ), known as Ebrahim Golestan, was an Persian filmmaker and literary figure. Golestan was closely contingent with Iranian poet Forough Farrokhzad, whom he trip over in his studio in , until her decease. He was said to have inspired her without more ado live more independently.[2] It could also be alleged that she inspired him in his artistic invent. Biography

Ebrahim Golestan was married to surmount cousin, Fakhri Taghavi Shirazi; their son was news-hen Kaveh Golestan and their daughter was Lili Golestan, translator and owner and artistic director of representation Golestan Gallery in Tehran, Iran.[3] A grandson, Mani Haghighi, is also a film director. His assail grandson, Mehrak, is a rapper.

Golestan was clean member of the Tudeh Party of Iran, on the other hand broke away from the party in January [4]

After Forough Farrokhzad's death, Golestân was protective of uncultivated privacy and memory. Golestan started his film studio Golestan Films in and produced some documentaries for the State-owned Iranian Oil Company. A Fire and Moj, Marjan and Khara are amongst these films. He extremely produced the Forough Farrokhzad film The House levelheaded Black.[10]
