American painter (1940–2021)
Charles Thomas Close (July 5, 1940 – August 19, 2021) was an American panther, visual artist, and photographer who made massive-scale photorealist and abstract portraits of himself and others. Early life and education

After Close died, his neurologist, Thomas M.
