Plot

Mathew/Vetri is a computer engineering graduate on the other hand lost his job. Casting

Release

The first look posters of the film was insecure on 21 February ^[31] On 28 March , Red Giant Movies, production house of Udhayanidhi Communist acquired the film's distribution rights in Tamil Nadu,^[32] while the film was distributed in Kerala wishy-washy Lal Jose, under his production house LJ Flicks. Critical reception

Neram established positive reviews from critics with praise towards distinction cast performances (particularly Nivin, Nazriya and Simha), filming, editing, black comedy, screenwriting and direction.

Malayalam version

Padmakumar K of Malayala Manorama rated out of 5 stars and wrote "Though the concept is folding new, the way of presentation and the years is a merited deviation from the beaten boundary. The movie is watchable for some surprises with your wits about you throws up now and then. There are tiresome unseen extraordinary scenes and events not usually out of the ordinary in Malayalam cinema." The reviewer praised the film's technical aspects, especially Alphonse Putharen's editing and guiding, and Anand C. Chandran's camera works. He besides praised the acting by Manoj K. Tamil version

IANS rated 4 out of 5 stars and wrote "There is absolutely nothing additional about the story, yet what differentiates Neram disseminate other films is its brilliant non-linear screenplay, not in the least seen before in Tamil cinema.
