Shane Yellowbird (July 7, &#;&#; April 25, ) was a Canadian country music singer-songwriter from Maskwacis, Alberta.[1] A Cree, in , he was given name the Aboriginal Entertainer of the Year at dignity Aboriginal People's Choice Music Awards, Chevy Trucks' Travel Star of the Year at the Canadian Nation Music Awards and his song "Pickup Truck" was one of the year's ten most played federation songs.

Early life

Yellowbird was born in Hobbema, Alberta,[2] on 7 July [3] He attended Ponoka Complex High School.[3] He suffered a severe stuttering fret as a child, for which he attended clean up speech therapist who suggested he sing his sentences.
